I've read through this and it's AMAZING! I'm planning to run it for my group using Shadowdark, which is close enough to OSE stats to convert on the fly!
I was absolutely blown away by this book. Every idea is gameable, evocative, weird but gettable, interesting. It sticks in the mind. The setting is like deja vu. I love it.
We currently have plans for four more volumes of similar scope (with the next one well underway). But the full map of Wildendrem encompasses nine provinces, so we could keep going if fate and fortune permit!
I bought the hardcover book from their website and it came with a PDF. This is AMAZING. It is a wonderful sandbox stuffed full of interesting locations, hooks, quests, and interesting factions/NPCs. 10/10 would recommend. Also the book's production quality and layout are superb, the art is beautiful and fits it perfectly.
I'll be terribly sad, despondent even, if I never get a volume two.

We ran one playtest session with first edition Knave and it worked very well. Haven't tried 2e but it should work as well.
